Experience

Yağız Soymen brings extensive experience in providing consultancy, audit, and training services for compliance with data protection regulations, primarily KVKK, as well as other local and international frameworks. He also specializes in compliance consultancy for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, and SOC II standards.

In addition to his professional expertise, Yağız has significantly contributed to the ideation and development of legal technologies such as Compliance Detective, Verilogy, KVKKarar, and Lex Progress.

Since 2021, he has been serving as the co-director of the Privacy Innovation Lab at Istanbul Bilgi University, where he actively contributes to education and research in the field of data privacy.

Education

He obtained his LL.B. degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law.
