Experience
Şerife Âmine Mümin practices in various fields of law, particularly data protection law, corporate law, e-commerce law, consumer protection law, and contract law. During her undergraduate studies, she completed internships at German companies, a leading Turkish law firm, the Turkish Competition Authority, and a legaltech startup. She is currently continuing her legal internship at YAZICIOGLU Legal.
Education
She obtained her LL.B. from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law. During her studies, she served as a research assistant in an Erasmus+ project coordinated by Prof. Dr. Adem Sözüer, focusing on legal studies in the digital age. In addition, she participated in both national and international competitions, including the Future Arbitration Lawyer Competition on international commercial disputes and the Jean Pictet Competition on International Humanitarian Law organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). She achieved third place at the national level in the Future Arbitration Lawyer Competition. Subsequently, together with her colleagues, she co-founded Ist Moot Court in collaboration with the Istanbul University Faculty of Law Dean’s Office and the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC).
Alongside her legal experience, she also gained exposure to investment and startup ecosystems through the trainings she received and the project she developed within the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce’s subsidiary, the Information Commercialization Center.
